Outdoor Dining Table Quality Standard Requirements

"Dining Tables" (GB/T 24821-2024) is a recommended national standard in China for indoor freestanding movable dining tables and chairs (including stools). The standard was first implemented on May 1, 2010, and was revised and released by the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standardization Administration) on October 26, 2024. The new version will be implemented from May 1, 2025.

The standard specifies the technical requirements for the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation, and storage of dining tables and chairs. The 2024 revised version adds technical requirements and test methods for materials such as stone and ceramic slabs, and optimizes indicators such as appearance dimensions, strength, and durability.
